Yoga helps clear the mind and relax the body by releasing layers of tension. We should rest when we need to decompress and move when we need to relieve stress. Different yoga styles can support us through various life stages. Some days, we might need a calm restorative class, while other days, a yoga flow may be more beneficial.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a passive, slow and restorative practice meant to activate the body's relaxation response. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes with minimal to no effort at all. Mentally, this practice is a great balance to the wildly busy and overstimulated world we live in. Physically, it's incredible prehab & rehab for athletic recovery and a foundation of youth for our muscles and joints. Rest and decompress in our Yin Yoga classes offered below.

Yoga Flow
Yoga flows are an active moving meditation. Some classes are slow and soothing while others are fast paced burning away old, negative energy to create new, positive energy in the body, mind and spirit. Yoga poses are sequenced together to target specific areas and circulate freshly oxygenated blood throughout every muscle and joint in our body. This practice will leave one feeling strong, grounded, open, happy, and, depending on the class, very sweaty.
